SF Write #2: The Predicament

In the next installment of your science fiction writing, your alter ego finds him- or herself in a predicament. You get to decide what that predicament is. Remember, it is THE FUTURE. Also, SF Write #2 should end with a cliffhanger. Will your alter ego get out of the predicament or won't they? This should be suspenseful.

SF Write #2 should be written in the first person, but it doesn't need to take the form of a letter, though it can if you'd like it to.

Also, SF Write #2 must incorporate a cutting-edge technology. You need to research a technology that is currently at the cutting-edge of science. You then need to incorporate this technology into your story set in 2050. In 2050 this technology can be part of the everyday fabric of life. Description of the technology must be at least 4 sentences in length. Please place a purple star next to your technology description.

SF Write #2 should be 2-4 pages in length, 1.5 line-spaced, and use size 13 font.

Due Thursday, May 27.
